On this sacred day for each of us, we remember the feat of our people with the deepest respect and awe. We bow our heads before those who, at the cost of their lives, defended our freedom, our right to a peaceful sky and a happy future. This is a day of remembrance of incredible fortitude, courage and self-sacrifice.
I would especially like to note the invaluable contribution of women to this Victory. Those who fought alongside men on the front lines, who saved lives in hospitals, who worked tirelessly in the rear, and those who simply believed and waited. Your strength, patience and love were an inexhaustible source of inspiration and support for the entire country.
As a lawyer, I defend the principles of justice and legality every day. The Great Victory is the highest triumph of justice, it is the affirmation of the right to life, freedom and human dignity. And in my work I always strive to be worthy of the memory of those who gave us this world, protecting the rights and interests of everyone who asks for help.
